Stiftung Warentest: Sixt is the most competitively priced private leasing provider

Pullach, April 10, 2008 - Sixt Leasing AG, as one of the largest leasing companies independent from manufacturers and banks, often offers private car buyers the opportunity to obtain a new vehicle at the most competitive rate according to Stiftung Warentest (leading German consumer safety group). For 10 out of 11 cars that were tested by the magazine Finanztest, Sixt Leasing took away the prize for top performer when compared to other leasing providers, sometimes by a clear distance. The 11 most popular cars, ranging from small vehicles to all-terrain vehicles, were put to the test among 25 manufacturer and independent financing and leasing providers. The assessment was based on the average monthly instalment that the customer had to pay over three or four years (Audi, Mercedes). A so-called 'current value' was also calculated in order to compare the financing offers with a cash purchase. On the one hand, the current value takes into account the discounted value of monthly and annual instalments and on the other, indicates the approximate value of leasing vehicles after the leasing period expires.

Pullach, February 21, 2008 – Sixt Leasing AG, one of the leading full-service leasing companies independent from banks and manufacturers, has received the “Business Diamond 2008” award in the “Vehicles” category. The business travel award is presented by Busche Verlagsgesellschaft from Dortmund in cooperation with the convention agency Buchungsservice24 from Berlin. Jörg Martin Grünberg, Chief Sales and Distribution Officer of Sixt Leasing AG, accepted the award from Johannes Großpietsch, CEO of Busche, and Frank Heinemann, CEO of Buchungsservice24, during a gala on February 18 in Frankfurt am Main.
