Sixt at the IAA as BMW’s guest

Frankfurt am Main, 15 September 2009 – Sixt AG, one of the leading international car rental companies with a presence in 100 countries, is participating for the first time as an exhibitor at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt am Main (17 to 27 September). Sixt is the guest and exclusive car rental partner of BMW AG at the show and will present its latest products and services. The expert Sixt sales team will be on hand to answer questions from trade specialists as well as the public. The trade show booth will be located in the new Hall 11 at booth D01 from 17 to 27 September.
Sixt is the only car rental company offering its customers ConnectedDrive, the innovative service from BMW. At the IAA, the public can come to the Sixt booth and test the innovative information services while sitting in a BMW Z4. A view of the dashboard is also projected onto a screen so that the features can be viewed from outside the car as well. BMW ConnectedDrive functions like an electronic travel companion and establishes a network which can provide the driver with important information at any time – from traffic, news and weather reports to addresses (both business and private) which can be directly transferred into the navigation system.
