First Sixt station opens in Peru

Pullach, 16 November 2009 – Sixt AG, international provider of high-quality mobility solutions, is expanding its presence in South America.  As of now customers can book the proverbial Sixt quality at favourable prices also in Peru. Sixt had launched its services in Mexico back in September and is already present in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Panama and Costa Rica.

Alongside classic car rental services in Peru Sixt is focusing on long-term car rental for business clients, limousine services and the rental business with holiday vehicles for private customers. As a special service Sixt is offering its delivery and pickup service to and from the international airport of the Peruvian capital Lima. The fleet of vehicles available in Peru stretches from fuel-saving Eco models through to limousines and SUVs as well as all-wheel drive cars. As in the other South American countries Sixt is once again cooperating closely with experienced local franchise partners in Peru.

Detlef Krehahn, Director and Vice President International Franchise: "Countless customers worldwide are relying on Sixt's mobility solutions. With Peru we are opening up another South American country primarily to business clients but increasingly also to tourist visitors. We are delighted to offer an almost nationwide high-quality service at a very good price-performance ratio."
